This colored pencil drawing was created for the specific purpose of raising funds (via the internet) to be used to help defray the costs of pigment lightfastness research , spearheaded by the Colored Pencil Society of America. The culmination of this research was the worldwide recognition of D6901 as the designated lightfastness standard as of 2003.
